In all volatile regions where the security risk is high, it is challenging for agencies to deliver projects effectively. CTG is able to mitigate these risks and make essential missions a reality. We have an established network in Afghanistan with experience operating across all 34 provinces and are able to access the remotest regions.
As in all of our areas of operations hiring local nationals is key to our project implementation. We invest in training and development for our staff and in certain cases are able to sponsor university education.
Our experience in Afghanistan is extensive. In country since 2006, we’ve worked on a variety of projects from programmes that help rebuild the lives of civilians affected by mines and conflict, to disarmament, demobilization and reintegration, to clinical and educational rehabilitation programmes and the construction of schools and clinics.
CTG was the first to offer Programme Assistance Teams for food delivery in the country. Across the country, the positions we’ve filled range from drivers, mechanics and food monitors to electrical engineers, monitoring and evaluation specialists and governance advisors.
With our knowledge and proven track record in the region, we look forward to providing our services to the wider region.
