CTG AT AIDEX 2023
CTG will be attending AIDEX from 25 to 26 October 2023 – the world’s leading humanitarian aid and disaster relief event taking place in Geneva.
This year’s theme ‘Addressing the forgotten crises – how can we manage and anticipate crises when so much of our focus is on Ukraine?’ highlights the need for the humanitarian and development community to come together to solve the challenges faced in the delivery of assistance on a global scale.
With thousands of staff operating in 25 of the world’s most challenging locations, effective duty of care to staff is CTG’s number-one priority. Which is why this year we are joining International Location Safety (ILS) and GISF (the Global Interagency Security Forum) at the Duty of Care Pavilion. Joining duty of care leaders from across the globe, we will engage in and lend our expertise on an educational and thought-provoking agenda of panels, workshops and case studies devoted to exploring how to best support staff working in high risk and challenging environments.
CTG will also be contributing to the discourse on sustainable development, joining panels which aim to foster multi-stakeholder partnerships to bring about meaningful change and achieve the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda.
PANELS CTG WILL BE ENGAGING ON:
Day 1: The SDG prioritisation dilemma – Are multi-sectoral collaborations the key to address multiple SDGs in parallel? - Discussion Room F61 – 50px-60px
Alice Laugher,
CTG Chief Executive Officer
Day 2: Lessons in Safe Recruitment – ILS Duty of Care Pavilion
James Veysey,
CTG Chief Operating Officer
