Violence and insecurity in Nigeria have sparked multi-faceted challenges affecting the livelihood of millions of people and causing mass movements. As a response, in 2018 CTG expanded its West Africa footprint to establish a presence in Nigeria and support the humanitarian mission.
Our growing number of staff – we currently have 942 – are engaged in EORE Training, Vaccine Security Logistics (VSL), Communication For Development (C4D), Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, WASH and Health projects, U-Report data collection, as well as DTM. CTG staff work in all 36 states.
With more than a decade supporting staff in the field, we are fully committed to the duty of care of our teams, with a complete on-the-ground medical and emergency response capability, including a dedicated HR and duty of care app with integrated geolocation technology and a panic button.
The Nigeria Security Team monitors security 24/7 releasing daily reports, and practicing the highest standard of security protocols.
