HOW TO USE OUR APP

Beating The Blackholes of Emergency Response

Some countries and regions are ‘assistance black holes’ – places where inadequate infrastructure and on-going conflict make it especially difficult to provide medical services.

Our co-ordinated emergency response is in partnership with Tangiers International whose local footprint consists of air ambulances, medical escorts, ground transportation, hospital partnerships, physicians and clinics, dentists, laboratories and pharmacies.

Challenges in ‘black holes’ include:

  • Language barriers
  • Poor infrastructure
  • Unreliable electricity
  • Lack of telephone coverage
  • WiFi deserts
  • Limited or no access to banking services
  • Inefficient bureaucracies

SAFETRIP®

Our SafeTrip® process ensures we know the whereabouts of our staff, enabling our management on the ground to respond to a crisis situation. All movements from duty station are required to follow SafeTrip®; whereby our security staff can assess prevailing threats and keep staff informed during their trip.
