Burkina Faso
The humanitarian crisis in Burkina Faso continues to escalate, with growing insecurity and increasing violence particularly in the north, causing enormous harm to the population.
CTG deployed its first consultants to the country in 2019, to support the implementation of the first humanitarian mine action activities in the country. As a humanitarian enabler and first responder to emergencies, CTG deployed Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Threat Awareness Trainers and Risk Education Specialists to support the assessment of the growing number of IED threats and provide counsel to the Government of Burkina Faso.
All projects in Burkina Faso are supervised by our multilingual team who guarantee quality management systems, safeguarding and anti-corruption processes are locally implemented. Consultants are supported through the Field Liaison Office (FLO), a remote account management system based at CTG’s HQ that deploys when required.
